Personally, this is my most favourite photo that I have ever shot. It was taken at Taieri stream, New Zealand, on a bright scorching day with clear skies. I was on a calm hike with my family when all of a sudden, we decided to take a short detour from the original hiking path. Unbeknownst to us, our direction led us straight to a rushing waterfall, its clear waters causing soft ripples to froth and gather at the bottom. The sunlight's rays reflected beautifully off the surrounding greenery. The waterfall and nature stood so majestically in front of us that I could not resist capturing this idyllic scene. 

It made me realise that sometimes, the most beautiful experiences come from the risks you take and the detours you never planned.

My process is simple, intuitive, and rooted in everyday observation. I capture moments as they unfold—guided by mood, light, and whatever that naturally draws my eye. Using only my iPhone 12, I rely on instinct, focusing on compositions that feel honest, atmospheric, and visually pleasing. Each image is a snapshot of how I see the world in that exact moment.
